Description
Cement mortar WB Fast Floor (Class C-25) is a finished screed with accelerated setting time and waterproofing properties for the substrate of balconies and terraces, for the substrate of PVC floor coveringscarpet, parquet, terracotta, stone, natural marble, etc.
Suitable for general use in general construction, it can be used in both new and refurbishment of old buildings, in all residential, industrial and public areas. The floor is poured from 2 cm to 5 cm thick; for larger areas the use of expansion joints is recommended.
Substrate preparation:
All strong and load-bearing cementitious substrates are suitable for pouring the cement floor, which should be free of organic impurities, dust and grease. Substrates such as e.g. raw concrete, rough substrates showing excessive absorption should be wetted with water.
Mortar preparation:
Cement mortar WB Fast Floor is a ready-mixed mineral-based screed and no cement or sand should be added. The ready-mixed mortar should be poured into a caster, wheelbarrow or concrete mixer to achieve the desired consistency by gradually adding water.
Method of use:
The prepared mortar is poured onto the prepared substrate, the thickness of the layer is measured with leveled guides made of metal tubes or bars, along which the mortar is spread with a wooden or metal patch. The floor can be walked on after approximately 30 hours, depending on the temperature and humidity of the environment. The optimum temperatures for pouring and curing are between +5°C and +25°C. Ceramic and stone floor coverings can only be glued after 3 days. Carpets, pvc, linoleum or parquet after 7 days, depending on the humidity of the air and the substrate.
Mortar storage:
Cement mortar should be stored in tightly closed bags in a dry room. The storage life of the mortar is 6 months.
