Description
Properties:
for ceramic, porcelain stoneware, stone and cement tiles,
for conventional and deformable substrates (heated, uneven, balconies and terraces),
water- and frost-resistant,
efficient and easy to use,
for indoor and outdoor use.
Application:
Flexible adhesive mortar for bonding wall and floor ceramics, stone, cement and gres tiles, excluding marble. It is recommended for use on demanding deformable substrates, heated, uneven surfaces, flaccid partitions, as well as on balconies and terraces. The product is water and frost resistant and can be used indoors and outdoors.
Substrate type and preparation:
The mortar can be used on cement, cement-lime and gypsum plaster (properly seasoned and prepared), concrete substrates, cement floors, anhydrite and asphalt substrates, OSB boards, existing tiles (indoors). The product can be applied to load-bearing and dry surfaces. The surface should be clean and free from substances that reduce adhesion (dust, grease, bitumen).
Product preparation:
Pour the contents of the pack into a suitable quantity of clean, cool water (5-6 litres), stir with a drill and mix until a homogeneous consistency is obtained. After 5 minutes, stir again. If the consistency of the mortar is too thick you can add a small amount of water and mix again.
Method of use:
Glue WB FLEX GLUE spread on the substrate with a notched trowel or spatula. In case of application on demanding surfaces exposed to water absorption or outside buildings, apply the adhesive also on the underside of the tiles. Lay the tiles maintaining the proper joint width, pressing evenly to the substrate. The time for correcting the position of the tiles is 10 minutes. The laying time should not exceed 30 minutes after spreading the adhesive. The adhesive mortar should be used within 2 hours of mixing with water. If it thickens, stir vigorously, do not add water! After 24 hours you can start grouting. Bonding should be carried out at temperatures between +5 °C and +25 °C.
Storage:
The mortar should be stored in tightly closed bags in dry areas.
Storage time:
24 months.
Packaging:
25 kg bag.
Performance:
1.5 kg/m2 at 1 mm thickness.
In practice, the consumption depends on the degree of evenness of the substrate and the type of tiles.
