Description

WB FUGA FLEX - Flexible grouting mortar for filling the spaces between ceramic tiles, porcelain stoneware, natural and artificial stone substrates, as well as for filling spaces in mosaics.

Properties:

  • flexible and smooth,
  • resistant to water penetration and mould formation,
  • water- and frost-resistant ,
  • efficient and easy to use.

Application:

  • for conventional and deformable substrates (heated, terraces and balconies),
  • swimming pools and terraces
  • for indoor and outdoor use

Substrate type and preparation:
The tiles should be clean, free from substances that reduce adhesion (dust, grease, bitumen, adhesive residues). Tiles with high absorbency characteristics should be wetted. Carry out a discolouration resistance test on the tiles.

Preparing the product for use:
Pour the contents of the pack into a suitable quantity of clean, cool water, mix with a drill with a mixer until a homogeneous consistency is obtained. After 5 minutes, stir again.

Method of use:
The grout should be applied with a trowel, spreading it to fill the spaces between the tiles, and any excess grout should be removed. After approx. 10 minutes you can start levelling the joint with a damp but not too wet sponge, avoiding rubbing the filled joints too much. Within 30 minutes, smooth the joint surface with a damp sponge. Remove tile residue after the joint has set. Use the mortar within 40 minutes of mixing with water, if the mortar thickens, stir vigorously, do not add water. Adding water will reduce the properties of the mortar, in particular it will reduce the adhesion, setting time and may cause discolouration. Prepared materone has an alkaline reading, skin and eyes should be protected. If m1TP2Body comes into contact with eyes, rinse eyes with cold water and seek medical advice.

Performance conditions:
Carry out the work at a temperature between +5°C and +25°C.

Storage:
The mortar should be stored in tightly closed bags in dry areas for a period of 12 months from the date of manufacture.

Warranty term:
12 months from date of manufacture.
