Description
WB DUO FLEX - is a waterproofing with increased flexibility while maintaining a strong structure, a waterproofing and damp proofing based on an aqueous plastic dispersion. Recommended as a sub-tile waterproofing for bathrooms, swimming pools, wet rooms and sealing of foundations. Used in terrace and balcony systems as a sealing and adhesive material for WB Membranes. Forms an effective seal against pressurised water, infiltration and water protection of cement and cement-lime plaster, cement floor bases, concrete, reinforced concrete, brick walls, hollow blocks, block walls, plasterboard, etc. Thanks to the content of synthetic resins, it adheres perfectly to various substrates and forms an airtight film on exposed parts and enables cracks and scratches to be covered. Resistant to UV rays, chlorinated water, oils, petrol, municipal waste water, etc. Inhibits the carbonation of concrete and does not corrode steel. Thanks to its low vapour diffusion resistance, it allows water to evaporate from soggy structures. For use horizontally and vertically on indoor and outdoor surfaces. Environmentally friendly, solvent-free.

Waterproofing WB Duo Flex is characterised by its high adhesion to various building materials, both in horizontal and vertical application. It is resistant to negative atmospheric influences, not only to strongly influencing plus and minus temperatures, but especially to quite frequent changes of these temperatures, i.e. so-called 0 degree transitions. The waterproofing can be used for drinking water tanks and also has resistance to chlorinated water. It can be used on dry and slightly damp substrates.
APPLICATION:
- Insulation of balconies, terraces, swimming pools, bathrooms, shower rooms, etc. prior to installation of ceramic cladding,
- sealing of concrete tanks for the storage of water, including drinking water,
- insulation of plasterboard, plaster or cement bases, aerated concrete blocks and waterproof plywood,
- sealing and smoothing of concrete surfaces subject to minor deformation under load,
- to protect plaster or concrete with shrinkage cracks from water penetration and aggressive weathering,
- protection of concrete columns and floor beams,
- protection of concrete surfaces exposed to seawater and chemical agents.

Product preparation:
Before combining the liquid part with the reaction powder, the two components must be mixed well. The mixture can be mixed both by hand and with a mixer. Any lumps that occur must be stirred in. The material should be processed immediately after mixing, as it thickens over time due to the hydration of the cement.
Method of use:
Hydro-isolation WB DUO FLEX Apply to the substrate with a brush, steel float or spray equipment. Apply the first thin layer by rubbing firmly into the substrate in order to close the pores. Apply a second coat, if any, only after the first coat has set (after approx. 4 hours). The thickness of the layer applied in one application must not exceed 2 mm (recommended 1 mm) and the total thickness of all layers applied must not be less than 2 mm. The surface can be smoothed with a steel trowel within minutes of application. Apply additional sealing tapes in vertical and horizontal corners and expansion joints. WB Tape. Do not apply the product during precipitation. Protect freshly applied coatings from rain and frost for approximately 12 hours. In particularly hot and dry conditions, protect against rapid drying with damp matting. The laying of ceramic coverings can be started after 4-5 days.
Tools:
Drill with mixer, brush, steel trowel, spray equipment. Wash the tools with water, immediately after work. After hardening, remove mortar residues only mechanically.
Storage and transport: Waterproofing WB DUO FLEX should be transported and stored in tightly closed packaging at plus temperatures. Protect from frost and direct sunlight. Store in original packaging.
