Description
WB INJECTOCREAM is a high-quality, ready-to-use, water-based injection cream based on silanes. In masonry, it penetrates into the finest tubules and pores and leads to hydrophobisation. It is used for subsequent injection to protect against capillary rising damp. Thanks to its special formulation with a high content of active substances, it can be used in cases of moisture seepage up to 95 %. Due to its creamy consistency, WB INJECTOCREAM can be applied without labour-intensive preparatory work such as filling cavities.
APPLICATION:
- Tested and certified according to WTA guidelines.
- Ready for use.
- Creamy texture.
- Solvent-free.
- Hydrophobic effect, therefore there is no clogging of pores.
- No prior filling of cavities is necessary.
- Excellent penetration properties into the smallest tubules.
- It can be used in cases of moisture seepage up to 95 %.
- Does not form foreign salts. - Very high concentration of active substance.
- It can be used without pressure.
TECHNICAL DATA:
Key ingredients: special silanes
Colour: white/yellowish
Application temperature: from +5°C
Density: approx. 0.89 g/cm3
Consistency: paste
Concentration of active substance: ca. 82 %
Consumption: depending on wall thickness
WB INJECTOCREAM It is an effective material for pressure-free sealing of existing masonry in cross-section up to a dampness rating of 95%. The injection procedure itself does not require the use of expensive application equipment, so this type of sealing can be done without specialised equipment - a manual squeezer is sufficient.
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:
Damaged old plaster must be removed at least 80 cm above the visible moisture damage. Dusty, crumbling, damaged joints should be removed to a depth of at least 2 cm. If necessary, clean the surface mechanically. Any chipping and open joints should be filled in advance. Then drill horizontal holes 12 - 16 mm in diameter in the support joint at intervals of 8 - 12 cm. The depth of the drilled holes should be the thickness of the wall minus 5 cm (example: for a 40 cm thick wall, the depth of the hole is 35 cm). The holes should be blown out with oil-free compressed air. When drilling in two rows, the offset of the holes must not exceed a height of 8-12 cm. Application WB INJECTOCREAM in cellular concrete is possible under certain conditions. Before application, please consult our WB Technical Department WATER BLOCK.
MATERIAL:
With 1K injection equipment or pneumatic syringes with injection lances WB INJECTOCREAM can be applied almost without pressure. Injection takes place from the end of the borehole to the beginning. To do this, the lance must be inserted into the end of the hole, and after actuating the injection gun, it is slowly pulled out of the hole. The hole should be completely filled with cream WB INJECTOCREAM. In the case of two rows of holes, the injection should start from the lowest row.
USE:
approx. 1.5 kg per running metre and m2 of wall cross-section. For example: for a 36 cm thick wall: 540 g for a 48 cm thick wall: 720 g We recommend adding a safety margin of at least 10% to the calculated consumption value. After the injection material has been completely absorbed by the wall, the holes should be filled with cement mortar WATER BLOCK. In order to dry the wall above the injection area, ensure that there are no impermeable paints or coatings on the wall; remove them if necessary. Sufficient drying conditions should be provided; additional measures may be necessary. Depending on the damage and the cause, further waterproofing measures should be taken, e.g. application of a vapour-permeable restoration render, external or internal waterproofing of the building using products WATER BLOCK.
