Application:
WB Bitumen KMB 2C can be used indoors and outdoors.
- is used for the application of durable, elastic insulation to the exterior of buildings below ground level on horizontal and vertical surfaces. The insulation is applied with a spatula or sprayed on.
- can also be used as intermediate insulation (under the screed) for concrete slabs, balconies and terraces and for bonding extruded polystyrene panels to asphalt and mineral substrates.
- adheres well to all dry and slightly damp mineral substrates and bituminous substrates of adequate strength (e.g. old cold and hot coatings or thick coatings).
Properties:
WB Bitumen KMB 2C is a two-component, thick-layer bitumen compound containing polystyrene and refined with plastics. The product is environmentally friendly and contains no solvents. WB Bitumen KMB 2C consists of a bitumen emulsion and a reaction powder. The chemical reaction occurring after mixing these components results in rain resistance after a short time and accelerates drying. Once dry, a durable and flexible foundation insulation is created. The paste-like structure of the material and its resistance makes it possible to apply a thick layer of material in one working cycle. The resulting coating is highly elastic, covers cracks and is resistant to all aggressive substances found in the natural substrate.
