Opis
WB FLEX GLUE – highly flexible adhesive for ceramic tiles, C2 TE S1 type, to be used on surfaces that are prone to deformations, especially – on terraces and balconies.
Properties:
- for ceramic, stoneware , stone, and cement tiles,
- for standard and deformation-prone surfaces (heated and uneven ones, as well as balconies and terraces),
- water and frost resistant,
- efficient and easy to use,
- for internal and external use.
Application:
This flexible adhesive mortar is intended for facilitating the attachment of wall and floor ceramic, stone, cement, and stoneware tiles, with the exclusion of marble ones. It is recommended for demanding, deformation-prone, heated, and uneven surfaces, partition walls, as well as for balconies and terraces. The product is waterproof and frost resistant. It can be used for both external and internal projects.
Surface type and preparation:
The mortar can be used on cement, cement-lime, and gypsum plasters (after their proper seasoning and preparation), concrete surfaces, cement floors, anhydrite, asphalt surfaces, OSB boards, and existing tiles (interior ones). The product can be used on load-bearing and dry surfaces. Before applying the product, the surface it is to be used on should be cleaned and be free from substances that may reduce adhesion (dust, grease, bitumen).
Product preparation:
Pour the contents of the package into clean, cool water (approximately 5-6 liters) and mix using by a drill with a mixer until a homogeneous consistency of the preparation is obtained. After 5 minutes, mix again. If the consistency of the mortar is too thick, add a small amount of water and mix again.
Usage:
Spread WB FLEX GLUE over the surface with a notched trowel or spatula. When used on demanding surfaces, such as those exposed to excessive water absorption or outdoor ones, the product should also be applied to the underside of tiles. Lay the tiles while at the same time ensuring the appropriate width of the joints, evenly pressing them to the surface. The timeframe for correcting the position of the tiles is approximately 10 minutes. Application period should not exceed 30 minutes from the moment of spreading the mortar. The adhesive mortar should be used within 2 hours from the moment of its mixing with water. In the case of thickening, stir dynamically and do not add water! After 24 hours, it is possible to proceed to grouting. Product application should be carried out at temperatures ranging from +5 °C to +25 °C.
Storage:
The mortar should be stored in tightly closed bags in dry rooms.
Storage period: 24 months.
Packaging: 25 kg bag.
Efficiency: 1.5 kg/m2 while assuming the thickness of 1 mm. Efficiency highly depends on the evenness of the surface and the type of tiles used.
