Opis
WB INJECTOCREAM is a top quality, ready-to-use, aqueous injection cream based on silanes. In masonry, it penetrates into even the smallest gaps and pores, causing the hydrophobization effect. WB INJECTOCREAM is used for subsequent injections to protect surfaces against moisture. Thanks to a remarkably high content of active substances, it can be used in cases of moisture penetration of up to 95%. Due to its creamy consistency, WB INJECTOCREAM can be applied without the need for laborious preparatory works to be performed, such as filling gaps.
APPLICATION:
– Tested and certified according to WTA guidelines.
– Ready to use.
– Creamy texture.
– Does not contain solvents.
– Hydrophobic, no clogging occurs.
– Lack of necessity of filling in the identified gaps beforehand.
– Excellent penetration properties.
– Can be used in cases of moisture penetration up to 95%.
– Does not form salts.
– Very high concentration of the active substances.
– Can be used in no-pressure systems.
TECHNICAL DATA:
Basic ingredients: special silanes
Colour: white/yellowish
Application temperature: from +5°C
Density: approximately 0.89 g/cm3
Consistency: paste
Active substance concentration: approximately 82%
Efficiency: depending on wall thickness
SURFACE PREPARATION:
Damaged old plaster must be removed at least 80 cm above visible moisture damages. Dusty, brittle, and damaged joints should be removed to the depth of at least 2 cm. Clean the surface mechanically if necessary. Any cracks and open joints must be filled in advance. Afterwards, drill horizontal holes of the diameter of 12 – 16 mm in the support joint at 8 – 12 cm intervals. The depth of the drilled holes should be equal to the wall thickness minus 5 cm (for example: for a wall of the thickness of 40 cm, the depth of the hole should be equal to 35 cm). The holes should be then cleaned with oil-free compressed air. When drilling in two rows, the offset of 8-12 cm must not be exceeded. The use of WB INJECTOCREAM in cellular concrete is possible under certain conditions. Please consult our WB WATER BLOCK Technical Team before its use for the aforementioned purpose.
MATERIAL:
Thanks to the use of 1K injection devices or pneumatic syringes with injection lances, WB INJECTOCREAM can be applied in an almost pressure-free manner. The injection is carried out from the bottom of a given hole to its top. To perform said task, insert the lance into the hole and – after activating the injection gun – slowly pull it out of it. The hole must be completely filled with WB INJECTOCREAM. In the case of two-row hole sets, the injection-related procedure should be started from the lower row.
EFFICIENCY:
Approximately 1.5 kg per running meter and m2 of wall cross-section. For example: for the wall thickness of 36 cm: 540 g; for the wall thickness of 48 cm: 720 g. It is recommended to ensure the availability of the excess of product of at least 10% of the calculated efficiency. After the injection, the material will be completely absorbed by the wall. Then, fill in the holes with the WATER BLOCK cement mortar. To dry the wall above the injection area, make sure there are no impermeable paints or coatings on it; remove them if necessary. Sufficient drying conditions must be provided and additional measures may have to be taken. Depending on the damages identified and the complexity of the project, further waterproofing may be required, for example – the use of vapor-permeable renovation plaster, as well as external or internal waterproofing of the building basing on the use of WATER BLOCK products.
